Timeboat (hereinafter referred to as 'our company') shall establish the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as 'this policy') regarding the handling of personal information of users in the services (hereinafter referred to as 'this service') provided on this app by our company.

Personal Information

"Personal Information" refers to information about an individual that can identify a specific person by such information as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions, as well as data such as facial features, fingerprints, and vocal patterns, and information that can identify a specific individual from such information alone, such as a health insurance card number.

  3. Using Google API Service for following cases:

    1. To access data from the client's authenticated Google account for sign-in (To use thumbnail photo, user name, email address).

    2. To access event data (title, summary, location, start and end time, color) in Google Calendar to display schedules on calendar on timeboat app (we will not collect event data in our data store).

Disclosure of personal information

  1. When personal information is requested by the individual, the company will disclose it without delay. However, if any of the following apply, the company may not disclose all or part of it, and if a decision not to disclose is made, the company will notify the individual without delay. In addition, a handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for disclosing personal information.

    1. If there is a danger of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.

    2. If there is a significant obstacle to the proper conduct of the company's business.

    3. If it violates other laws and regulations.


  2. Regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information, will not be disclosed as a general rule.


Correction and deletion of personal information

  1. If a user believes that the personal information held by the company is incorrect, the user may request the company to correct, add or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") the personal information through the procedures set by the company.

  2. If the company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request in paragraph 1, it will promptly make the correction, etc. of the personal information.

  3. If the company makes the correction, etc. in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 or decides not to make the correction, etc., it will promptly notify the user of this.

Suspension of Use of Personal Information

  1. When the Company receives a request from the individual that the personal information held by the Company is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by illegal means, the Company shall promptly conduct the necessary investigation.

  2. If it is determined that the request from the preceding paragraph is necessary, the Company shall promptly suspend or delete the use of such personal information.

  3. If the Company suspends or deletes the use of personal information in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or if the Company decides not to suspend or delete the use of personal information, the Company shall promptly notify the user thereof.

  4. Despite the preceding two paragraphs, if the suspension of use or similar measures would entail a large expense, or if it is otherwise difficult to suspend or delete the use of personal information, but a necessary measure for protecting the user's rights and interests can be taken as an alternative, the Company shall take such alternative measure.

Changes of Privacy Policy

  1. The contents of this policy can be changed without notice to users, except for matters specified separately in laws or other regulations.

  2. Except as otherwise provided by us, the changed Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time of posting on the Service.
